Chocolate Shake!

Looks like a Chocolate Shake with her best paw forward. Cool Huh?

Doggybody Surfing

Yes, all the other dogs are jealous of "Lily the Surferdog". Well most of them anyway.

Pelicans

We found out that nothing in the air seems to interest her as long as there are waves & water.

Dog Wings?

Well ... Maybe not, but she sure looks funny.

Her first Stick

We started with just a regular dowel stick and and then started trying different colors.

Leave the Surfer alone.

I don't think she was going to hurt him. She does make some big splashes though. She's now 18 months and 90 pounds of happy dog. (large for her breed) She eats alot too!

Scary

I'm not sure what we feed her that morning. I don't think we'll try to take the stick from her until she loses that look.

Lily out with the Surfers

Love watching the surferdogs getting out with the real surfers. Makes for a great background.

Her New Red Stick

We read what all the "Experts" said about what a dog can see and can't see. They said yellow or violet was the best. Well, Lily couldn't find those in the white surf half the time, so I tried Red. Guess what? Found it everytime.

I'm just a Puppy

Yes, but a big puppy now.

Lily & Scout

At first glance you would think that Scout "the Pug" was outmatched, after watching the chase for the 5 to 10 minutes that they played together it was very clear that Scout was fast and relentless in his pursuit of the doggy stick Lily was fetching. Scout was faster and made Lily stop and fake numerous times to keep the little pug from taking her precious stick.

Pugs

(The Pug is a small breed of dog with a wrinkly, short muzzled face, and curled tail. The word "pug" may have come from the Old English pugg or "puge", which were affectionate terms for a playful little devil or monkey. Pug puppies are often called puglets. The breed is often summarized as multum in parvo ("much in little"), describing the Pug's remarkable personality despite its small size.)

Labrador Retrievers

(The Labrador Retriever (also Labrador, or Lab for short) is one of several kinds of retriever, a type of gun dog. They have webbed paws for swimming, useful when they retrieve their prey, hence why they are called retrievers. The Labrador, once known as the Lesser Newfoundland, is the most popular breed of dog (by registered ownership) in the world, and is, by a large margin, the most popular breed by registration in Canada, the United States (since 1991), and the United Kingdom. It is also the most popular breed of assistance dog in Canada, the United States, Australia, United Kingdom and many other countries, as well as being widely used by police and other official bodies for their detection and working abilities. Labradors are very athletic: they love to swim, play catch/frisbee, and are great with young children.)
