Trooper's Tug of War

I don't think I'm going to bother asking for the water toy right now. She looks pretty serious about keeping it for herself. Maybe I'll ask her to drop it later when she's in a better mood.
Lily's on the run from a big wave. She's been figuring things out lately after a couple of poundings in the large surf we had in December and the early part of January. She now watches the swells to make sure she's not going to get "Wiped Out by a Big One" while she swims after her toy.
When the tide is high Lily gets the best rides in the waves. Lily can take a 50' ride into shore atop a beautiful swell.
I'm not sure if she's starting into this wave or finishing it off?
Well maybe not UFOs, but they look like UFOs. I guess they could be water drops.
The hard part is done. Finding the stick in the waves now she's just enjoying the ride.
Well you can really see how far a dog will go for a bone in this photo. She's way out there where the surfers are and doing a great job of doggysurfing her way back to the beach.
Sometimes the doggys have to get right out with the guys. It's a long swim and they really enjoy being in the big waves.
We just picked up some driftwood and tosed it out to see if she would go for it. We never believed it would turn into a weekly trip.
I think Lily liked the cold water better than our son. He looks a little cold.
The Kid couldn't get away from this one. He said he didn't want to get wet. Too Bad!
This one was a little close, but the surfer turn just in the nick of time.
Early morning when the sun is coming up around 9am. Made for great backgrounds and well lite surf
She's having a great time being in the wave with a surfer in the background. There are only a few dogs who want to get into the waves.
